I had a very enjoyable trip and it was a life changing experience. The thing that struck me first about the Nepalese was how warm and welcoming they were. Even though they have very little they were happy to share and some even allowed us to come and look around their houses. I was also struck by how good their English was, they were amazing considering it was not their first language.

When we visited the school, I joined in with the student’s lessons. I was put into class 8A and they were all extremely welcoming. They all came up to me and talked to me and made me feel like part of the class for three days. During my time I also got to meet all the Charity’s sponsored children. They were all extremely talented children, either excelling greatly academically, in sports or in some cases in both. I really enjoyed this part of the trip. It was an unforgettable experience for me and I was able to make many long-term friends.
