The People behind JMB
Our team consists of a group of volunteers responsible for all the managerial and administrative functions of the Charity.
John Michael Brown
Trustee and Founder
After a lengthy career in the chemical industry, John decided in his so called “retirement” to focus on the charitable world. He has been active in many charities but from 1999 his passion has been in Nepal supporting bright deprived students through St Xavier’s School and some into further education and university. John has visited Nepal many times and has a strong relationship with the School having seen it grow from 65 boys only to a boys and girls school of around 1300 students.
John continued to run the Charity actively until 2017 and had the strong support of his late wife, Diana. He is delighted that his daughter and granddaughter, Louise and Anna are now running the Charity with the support of a strong Trustee team.
